Open Access booking for AAL Alumni and Current Certificate Students

Art Academy London Alumni and active Certificate Programme Students may now purchase places on our Open Access Sessions as a full (£50) or half day (£25) AM or PM sessions. All Open Access sessions run on Wednesdays and Fridays 10:30am – 4:30pm during term time, including during reading weeks (Term Dates listed here). Open Access Digital, Print and Wood and Metal sessions for the current or upcoming term can be purchased via Eventbrite using the links below. Three places per session will be available for alumni or Certificate students to book. Project Space bookings must be made by purchasing via the website – see below.

Open Access – Print Studio

Attendees need to be competent printmakers and must provide evidence of their knowledge and good studio practice. Novice printmakers must have completed a taster and a specialist printmaking course.

Artist and professional printmaker Steve Edwards, or another member of our print team supervises at all times, to offer support and advice. A health and safety induction is included in the first session, any materials available can be bought at an additional cost.

Open Access – Wood & Metal Workshop

One of our academy technicians will be on-hand to offer support and advice, a workshop induction will be included in your first session. Face, ear and hand protective equipment will be provided, if you are planning to work with metal equipment you will need to provide your own overalls and steel-toed boots. Any woood and metal can be purchased through the academy at an additional cost, costs will be outlined during your session.

Open Access – Project Space

The project space is a small studio off the digital suite which can be used for photography. The space has photolamps, flash heads, greenscreen, and a white backdrop. Project Space booking is limited to one student per session. Please purchase via our website below and mention in your order notes which date or dates you are wishing to book the space. We will then contact you to confirm availablilty. Please refer to Term Dates above.
