Over the course, students will explore drawing from observation, memory and imagination, thereby developing a deeper understanding of drawing and greatly enhancing drawing skills. Each week we focus on a particular aspect of drawing. Starting with measurement and explore this in different contexts, so that students will gain confidence in drawing a wide variety of subjects including still life, life models, and urban landscape. Through trying different approaches and materials, students will begin to develop a ‘visual vocabulary’ of drawing.
