This is where photographs come in; they broaden our radius of inspiration far beyond our immediate surroundings but it can be hard to make satisfying drawings from them. During this course you will explore a range of ways to work from and with photographs. You will learn techniques for drawing with accuracy as well as ways to breathe life into your drawings as wel as being given a chance to experiment with the types of drawings you want to make. Sometimes you will need physical copies of the photographs you want to work from (please see component sheet for details). If you don't have access to a printer you may want to cut some out of newspapers or magazines. You don't need to work from your own photographs however we would recommend trying to snap photographs in the week running up to the course of people/scenes/objects that inspire you.MORE INFO
