PRINT DROP-IN SESSIONS
Our print drop-in sessions will give you the opportunity to further develop your own projects at your own pace. This are self-led sessions where you are able to use our print studio. One of the Art Academy Print Associates will be supervising at all times, to offer support and advice. To make sure you can safely use the facilities, if you are not an experienced printmaker, we request that you have completed at least one evening or weekend printmaking course with us.
You must purchase your own materials. Art Academy London provides tools, presses and etching sundries in the Print Studio and there is availability for you to purchase individual paper and plates (card payments only). You can choose to supply your own inks and extender or pay a service fee of £10 per session to access the available inks stocked by AAL.
There are 6 places available for each session.
Please note that bookings made through Eventbrite are non-refundable. It is only possible to transfer bookings from one event to another up to 7 days prior to the start of the booked event. Additionally, providing there is space on the day it will still be possible to pay by card (Visa, Mastercard) in the reception shortly before the lesson; we do however recommend booking through Eventbrite in order to guarantee a place.

FREE LIFE DRAWING – TUESDAYS IN APRIL AND MAY
Four, free life drawing sessions on the theme of performance, as part of the Art Academy’s Outreach programme.
In each session you will draw different performers; musicians, dancers, actors and singers. Sometimes we will draw our models while they perform, making quick expressive drawings. Sometimes they will pose for us, giving us more time to create more detailed or accurate images. It will be a great opportunity to experiment with allowing the experience of a performance to inform your drawings, and have some fun with charcoal. All abilities welcome, please join us for as many of the sessions as you would like to.
These workshops are funded by the Hines (the building developer), who in return ask you to donate your drawings to be enlarged and reproduced onto the hoardings of their construction site at 18 Blackfriars Road.
If you would like your work to be displayed on the hoardings, the tutor will take a scan of your chosen image or images at the end of the session.
All materials will be provided for these sessions.
