Crows, dead meat and dejected superheroes form the subjects of Kinga’s paintings. Portraits of family and friends range from a woman who creates alternative limbs to the actor Robert Lindsay, which was filmed for Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year (2013). She has had her work exhibited in numerous shows in London, including at The Mall Galleries and Cork Street.
All of her work attempts to excavate the social, political and economical ideologies that we are invested in and shaped by.
Kinga has studied Fine Art at Ruth Prowse College of Art in Cape Town, and at The Art Academy, where she is currently on the Post Graduate program. She teaches painting at the Art Academy.
