Students will be able to approach the human figure in any way they please and do as many drawings or paintings as they care to pursue with as much or as little instruction as they like. Your experienced tutors will happily guide both beginners and the more experienced painters. Students should feel free to use whichever materials that they enjoy the most, whether that is drawing in charcoal or ink or painting in oils or acrylics. All paper is provided for the course but please bring your own drawing/painting materials.

This painting course is both practical and self-led which will raise your art to the next level. The course will give you the opportunity to work in one of our painting studios whilst immersing yourself in your own work and gain valuable insight to help grow and push your practice.
Dissect your own approach to painting with our experienced tutor as they assist you through practical exercises, sharing art historical references, and generously advising based on their own extensive experience as a painter. Work on ongoing projects, bring new references or create something new, the workshop is what you make it. “
