FREE CPD DAYS FOR TEACHERS

Our popular CPD Days offer you the chance to take part in artist-led practical workshops across painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media.

We’re passionate about the possibilities of creative subjects as part of everyone’s education and supporting those who teach art. Our popular free CPD days for art teachers in schools and FE offer the chance to take part in artist-led practical workshops, to explore skills and ideas you can take back into your classroom.

The days also provide a great network opportunity and an open forum for you to engage and build relationships with peers from all over the UK. A complimentary lunch and tour of our campus is included.

Our next CPD Day is: TBC

Over the course of our CPD Day, you’ll participate in two sessions led by our expert tutors in printmaking and sculpture. In the printmaking session, you’ll explore various techniques utilising everyday materials such as Tetra Pak packaging, allowing for ‘kitchen sink’ printmaking that is easily adaptable for classroom settings.

The sculpture workshop will explore sustainable, recycled, and foraged materials, introducing you to environmentally conscious sculptural techniques that you can incorporate into your teaching practice.

Fine Art Award for 16 to 18 year olds

One of our most thrilling initiatives for 2024 is the launch of our Fine Art Award. This competition is open to all artists between the ages of 16 and 18, encouraging young talents to showcase their creative potential.
