We offer 20% discounts across all courses to anyone holding a Blue Light card, this includes anyone working in the emergency services, NHS, social care and armed forces.

For both Easter and Summer school we reserve a limited number of spaces on each course for scholarship students. We are committed to making our courses affordable and available regardless of background or circumstances.

Scholarship Criteria

We offer a number of 50% and 100% means-tested scholarships for each course. If you would like to apply for a scholarship on behalf of your child, please complete the application form. Once received, your application will be assessed and if successful you will be contacted to discuss which course your child will join.

• To apply for the 100% scholarship, your child must be a recipient of Free School Meals. You must provide evidence of this by uploading a scan or photograph to your application form in the box provided. Pupils from comprehensive schools will be prioritised.
• To apply for the 50% scholarship, parents must be in receipt of Tax Credits. You can upload a copy, scan, or photo of the notification letter to your application.

The supporting documents must include the full name and date of birth of the student attending the course and they need to be valid for the period when the course is running.

Places per parent might be limited depending on the total number of scholarships offered for the term.

This 20% off offer is available for a selection of public course classes held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Minimum spend of £90.
Limited to 2 uses per BuzzCard holder.

Progressive discounts are available for the same student booking two or more 5 day week-long courses on our Easter and Summer courses. Courses must be booked at the same time.

• 4 or more courses: 15% discount

If you are a current academic student at the Academy you are entitled to a free place on our short courses and drop-in sessions.

You have to be studying on one of our Certificate, Foundation or BA programmes. If you are interested in our pre-degree or degree courses then you can find more information here.

These places are allocated depending on course sales, if you are a current academic student please fill out the Short Course Reserve Form via Moodle. Our short courses team will be in touch if you have successfully secured a place. Please note we cannot allocate free places on Masterclasses or Young Artist courses.
