Students will create paintings with a lively outcome through a bold and direct approach, with a particular emphasis on mark making and colour. You will learn to deal with the figure in space and think through the whole picture plane as well as how to mix colour and work with a split primary palette. The class will be structured with timed exercises but an individual approach and exploration are encouraged.
