This is an exciting 2-day course that explores the combination of life drawing and printmaking together. We will start both days in the drawing studio, creating a series of quick and longer posed drawings working with a life model. We will then translate our works to printmaking in our print studio. You will have the opportunity to try both monoprinting and drypoint etching techniques, and understand the possibilities of both. The course will build up your skills in both drawing and printmaking, allowing you to experiment in painterly and line-based approaches, focusing on figure, line and texture.
Once you have completed the course we recommend signing up to one of our evening or weekend Printmaking or Drawing courses to further develop your skills.
