The course will also enable students to make steps towards more sustainable printmaking.

Throughout this course you will learn:

  • How to print using Tetrapak – a versatile material you can tear, cut, crumple and emboss
  • How to introduce colour into your Tetrapak prints
  • How to use common household scrap materials such as bubble wrap, kitchen foil, and fragments of card, paper and cloth to create exciting abstract and textural prints
  • How to use a variety of specialist printmaking equipment and materials
  • How to use a professional printing press
  • How to experiment with the possibilities of non-traditional printing materials and combine the techniques you have learned

We will provide Tetrapak cartons but students are welcome to bring their own, cleaned, cartons.

Once completed, we recommend signing up to one of our evening or weekend courses specialising in a process of your choice.
