The course will help you build the skills and confidence to produce proposals for large-scale projects, taking inspiration from the non-formal aspects of the site i.e. history, social demographic, etc. You will study the formal elements of design; visual elements (material, colour, texture, form, composition, scale) and how they derive from and visually function within a larger contextualising space. You will respond to three different sites and make proposals and models for those sites, considering the historical lineage and current concepts of site-specific sculpture.
