During this course we’ll cover the following topics:

  • Expressive drawing of a life/clothed model
  • Understand abstract painting through mixed media
  • Explore the fundamentals of painting, focusing on colour and composition

  • Create an abstract 2-D sculpture piece

On the last day, students will have the opportunity to work on a personal project translating ideas and interests from the week into a finished or work in progress piece. There will be a chance for students to present their work in a group discussion.
