Robin-Lee Hall PPRP
Robin-Lee Hall paints and draws in all media, but specialises in the ancient medium of egg tempera. She studied at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Kingston. She is a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and in 2010 won the Society’s Gold medal and Ondaatje Prize for Portraiture. From 2014 – 2017 she was elected their President. Her subject matter covers portraiture, still life and interiors. She has exhibited widely in London including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual exhibition. She delivers talks, tours and workshops at the National Portrait Gallery and Royal Academy of Arts. In recent years she has developed drawing presentations and Life sessions using an iPad as a teaching aid to large groups in the Ondaatje wing Theatre at the National Portrait Gallery.
