Kinga’s subject matter ranges from crows and raw meat, to portraits of family and friends. All of her work attempts to excavate the social, political and economic ideologies by which we are invested and shaped. Kings was recently Digital Artist in Residence at Brent Museum and Archives, part of Being Brent, a community project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Taking the museum collection as her main inspiration, and drawing upon her experience of growing up and living in the area, Kinga created an animated film using charcoal drawings.
