This engaging and energetic one-day Portrait Workshop will push you to create two experimental portraits through different drawing mediums and processes by working from a sitter. This workshop is ideal for those who already understand the fundamentals of drawing the portrait and are looking for something fairly fast-paced to build on the skills and ideas you have already learnt.
Throughout the day we will look at various artist’s work as well as practical ways to experiment with mediums and approach. By the end of the day, students would have created two portraits and variety of sketches that explore a contemporary narrative. This workshop will inspire you to continue your journey in drawing whilst giving you the opportunity to explore the exciting world of portraiture.
If you enjoy this workshop then we recommend looking into our longer Portrait classes, specifically our week long ‘Drawing the Portrait‘ or ‘Portrait Painting‘.
